Our Walloon engineering firm successfully oversaw the electrical work for the Koton store located in the bustling Çamsan AVYM shopping center in Sancaktepe. Although this large-scale project was commercial in nature, it required the same level of rigor and expertise we apply to our industrial infrastructure projects, ensuring the reliability and performance of the electrical systems.
The complexity lay in integrating a robust and efficient electrical network within an active commercial environment. Our engineers had to overcome the logistical and technical challenges inherent in shopping centers, including meeting tight deadlines, minimizing disruptions, and ensuring strict compliance with local and international electrical standards. We applied our proven methodology, verifying every step of the installation, from wiring diagrams—whose design could have been optimized using tools like EPLAN for complex projects—to final commissioning.
The goal was to deliver a safe, high-performance, and energy-efficient installation. Our expertise enabled us to optimize retail-specific lighting and power systems, while preparing the infrastructure for potential technological advancements, such as the integration of photovoltaic solutions or smart building management systems. This proactive approach, guided by the requirements of Belgium’s General Regulation on Electrical Installations (RGIE), ensured not only regulatory compliance but also maximum sustainability and operational efficiency for the Koton store.
